Good Morning
A Poem for Patty from the Church Street Deli

Don't get me wrong... the coffee is good
Even the bagels are great
They just can't compare to your smile
It's like a horizontal moon
It has put a bounce in my step
and added pleasure to my days
That's why I decided to take the long way to work today
Just to greet you with a smile
And tell you, “Good Morning”
